Valley Bus is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to accurately process payroll data, run variance reports, address employee inquiries, and assist with school routes as needed. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and be comfortable with numbers.
Responsibilities:
Calculate and enter employee hours, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation adjustments.
Verify the accuracy of timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
Generate payroll reports for management review and accounting purposes.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and assist as needed.
Assist in year-end payroll activities.
Assist with school routes, ensuring safe transportation of students.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the security of payroll information.
Requirements:
Proficiency in data entry, payroll software, and MS Office, especially Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
