What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installer - Automatic Gates and controlled access position at Valley Entry Systems Inc.?
Valley Entry has been around for over 35 years. We are a highly reputable gate company with great employees. We specialize in gate automation, controlled access, and custom gates.
We are looking to hire full- time Installers, with in house paid training to candidates. Must be a hard worker, self-motivated, quick learner, ambitious, well organized, have good attention to detail & have a good attitude.
Great place to better your skill-set or start a new career. Put your multiple skills to work or learn new ones, everyday is different; between installing operators, installing gates, installing IP camera phones, solar panels, installing wire, welding, small concrete pads/runners, etc.
Installer duties:
- Install gate operators (motors, circuit boards, relays, vehicle detectors, etc).
- Install gates.
- Install solar panels and batteries.
- Install phone entry systems (IP, Cloud Based, & POTS).
- Install card (PROX) Readers & other access controls.
Musts:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Pass drug test.
- Pass background check.
Ideal candidate may have previously worked in: gate - gates - construction - carpenter - electrician - installation technician - laborer - garage door - alarm - HVAC - plumbing - installer - access control - general labor, etc

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
