Come and work with our Vocational Immersion Program (VIP)!
We are seeking two Job Coaches to join our VIP team! VIP is a 4-week pre-employment program for students ages 18 to 24 focused on work readiness, career exploration and discovery, and community-based work experiences and daily living skills. From Sunday, July 24 to Friday July 29, students and staff live together at a local hotel.
This is a GREAT opportunity for professionals already working in special education or college students currently studying special education to meet amazing young adults and gain new experiences in a supportive and fun environment.

Work Schedule Days & Hours*
*
Inservice: June 27 & 28 8:30am to 3:30pm
Safety Care Training: June 29 & 30 8:30am to 3:30pm
Weeks 1 to 3: July 5 to July 22 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Overnight Begins: July 24 3:00pm
Overnights: July 24 to 28 8:30am to 8:30am
Las Day: July 29 Ends at 3:30pm
Position Requirements
- Two years of college or high school graduate with two years of experience working with children with special needs in an educational or other organized setting.
- Paraeducator training is preferred.
- Ability to engage intellectually and physically in all components of the educational process.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with all constituents (administrators, colleagues, students, parents, and others).
- Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
- Ability to use computers and perform clerical skills at a proficient level.
