What are the responsibilities and job description for the Q.A. Associate position at Valley Health System?
QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSOCIATE-OFFICE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, HOLYOKE MEDICAL GROUP-FULL TIME
Assist with collecting and organizing data regarding various QA goals. Follow up with patients who have not received important testing. To assess and assist the various office staff in proper documentation of performance criteria to ensure we accurately report on performance metrics. To meet or exceed quality measurement standards set forth by the organization’s participation in Value Based Contracts (ACO, Insurance Co. Agreement, etc.) as well as required by State/Federal reporting. Utilizes the tools in the EHR to assist with monitoring clinical quality measures across Holyoke Medical Group and HMC Specialties for various initiatives including Meaningful Use and PCMH. To assist the Quality Assurance Manager in any projects that may arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School graduate, RMA/CMA, three years of experience in a physician's office performing clerical and billing tasks with an emphasis on quality assurance projects, value based contracts, and HEDIS measures.
