What You Will Do:

The Nurse Educator will identify education and psychosocial needs of diabetic/family, provide diabetes education, and evaluate effectiveness of education.

What You Will Bring:

Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Experience
Nursing experience as an RN with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience preferred.

Certification & Licensures
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required *
Current RN licensure in the State of West Virginia. Certified Diabetes Educator credential highly preferred; required to sit for CDE when eligible

Qualifications
Competent to successfully interact with patients according to their special needs which may apply based on the age of the patient served
