Support Staff Floater: Full-Time

Valley Hope of Moundridge has an exciting opportunity for to join our dedicated and passionate team in the role of Support Staff Floater.

This position will be helping our Dietary, Maintenance, and Housekeeping staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Working knowledge of and some experience in maintenance skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• CPR Certification

COMPENSATION:

• $14.00 - $16.00 per hour (based on experience and education)

JOB SUMMARY:

• Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain building, plant and equipment.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled trouble shooting and repairs of building/plant equipment.
• Performs scheduled maintenance and repairs on building/plant equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Performs a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Performs remodeling/maintenance of patient rooms, office space and common areas as directed.
• Maintains and repairs facility grounds including yard maintenance and snow removal.
• Transports patients as needed.
• Provides backup support to dietary and housekeeping departments as needed and instructed by manager.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Residential and/or outpatient treatment facility setting; requires walking throughout the facility and may require moving between buildings/rooms in temperature extremes.
