Full Time Clinical Dietitian, Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, CO

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our nutrition team. This position is responsible for providing clinical nutrition services including nutrition assessment, education, MNT, and counseling for patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Schedule 

Full time Monday-Friday, with weekend and holiday rotation

Salary

Position wage range:  $25.83 - $37.98/hour.  Starting salary dependent upon education, experience and skill-set.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for a diverse patient population.  Documents in the medical record, according to guidelines
  • Develops and revises a nutrition care plan based on information from the patient, medical record, family and health care team members.
  • Educates and counsels on health related topics such as diet/nutrition, therapeutic diet management, chronic disease management.
  • This position works in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
  • Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide regulatory compliance and public relations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered Dietitian required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum one year experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills, customer service, and communication required
