We have an opening at our Florence, AL facility as an Inspector. We rely on the Inspector position for incoming equipment services where the Inspector identifies critical repair areas and maintains all associated documentation. This position serves as QA/QC role for the locations manufacturing shop that services the wood handling technology area primarily within the pulp and paper industry. In this role, you will Create Inspection reports prerequisite to the quotation process where all repairs are recorded and eventually become a part of the customer repair proposal. The inspection report is essential to capture all associated repair cost for accurate estimating purposes. The inspections require proper recording and record keeping for future references. The right candidate will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager & Engineering Department. This position works with the Assembly Team to verify all dimensions are maintained and recorded. This position also works closely with the Product Managers who in turn communicate with our customer base. Requirements To be successful in this role, you must possess good oral & written communication skills, solid mathematical skills, and good organizational skills which are essential for project record. The right candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of industrial experience in a similar industry We offer We offer a challenging and innovating work environment.
