As Production Unit Leader of our Clarks Summit, PA location, you will be responsible for directing, planning, and execution of the company's strategic plan relating to all manufacturing operations. Expectations To excel in this role you will need a strong understanding of best practices implemented through Lean Enterprise; 5S, TPM, SWI, PDCA, etc. As the production unit leader, you will ensure that, as the company grows, manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for cost, quality, and responsiveness. Working with Customer Service and Sales, you will partner in production scheduling, estimating, and work in process reporting to meet customers’ expectations. You will partner with key stakeholders to recommend objectives in each area of operations, an develop specific short and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates. Additionally, to succeed in the role, you will need a bachelor’s degree from a college or university in a related field; or an Associate Degree from a two-year college; or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Effective written and oral communication skills in English along with presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills. Experience in ERP systems (Baan, SAP, etc.) is also required. A working knowledge of financial principles and practices, as well as experience managing a P&L is required, along with experience managing people.
