A Brief Summary of This Position: Performs routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures. This includes clerical duties such as photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, and distributing mail. Applies knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other departments' functions. Maintains records, prepares forms, verifies information and resolves routine problems. Essential Functions: Accurately enter orders for all product lines Check order entry against daily production download. Review and mail order acknowledgements to customers Scan and email copies of acknowledgements and invoice to rep agencies on a weekly basis Scan and email daily order entry report and weekly product line summary File and maintain all correspondence for sales Answer company phone Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): High School diploma or equivalent Excellent communication skills both written and oral Must be a self-motivated individual who pay close attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment Ability to read and follow procedures and instructions Ability to use varying degrees of independent judgment and discretion Must be able to perform basic computer functions Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to anticipate customer needs Ability to develop product knowledge and keep abreast of new product offerings Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications: 2-5 years of customer service experience (inside sales support) Previous experience in the sales process and customer relations Previous business experience Working Environment and Physical Efforts: Work is typically performed in an office setting; however, the incumbent may be required to go into the production or shipping/receiving areas. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and participate in meetings. The work environment is generally fast-paced and demanding. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The incumbent is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. Talking and hearing is required for this role. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. The position may require moving about, lifting, stooping, bending, climbing stairs, and kneeling in rare instances.
