The Loan Administration team at Valon powers our operations and ensures we continue to run smoothly. We onboard loans, handle insurance, process payments, and offer a first-class experience to Valon's homeowners from behind the scenes.
About the Role
The Collateral Management Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of functions related to residential loans. You'll take responsibility for processing lien releases, ordering and processing collateral files for loans that have been paid in full, requesting collateral files for delinquent loans, and assorted other tasks.
Responsibilities
Process documents related to loan payoffs.
Complete original deeds of trust for recording.
Manage deadlines for lien releases listed under relevant state guidelines.
Report tasks completed and identify improvements.
Prioritize and manage a high volume of daily tasks.
Work with internal business partners to develop improved processes and system updates.
Ideal Background
1 years of mortgage servicing experience
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and manage change in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent critical thinking skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
