Must be able to do all facets of tile and stone installation. Please Note: Refinishing floors in your home and watching re-runs on HGTV does not make you experienced. We are looking for qualified individuals with real-life, hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all projects are executed in compliance with Valor Home Services specs as well as regulatory code requirements

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans

• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

• Monitor expenditure and ensure it does not exceed budget

• Consistently report progress to Project Managers

• Move furniture

• Removal and replacement of base

• Demo existing floorcoverings

• Subfloor preparation

• Remove imperfections and repair subfloors

• Use drum and edger sanders and other tools

• Apply coats of waterbase and oil urethane.

• Work with several different types of wood.

• Calibrate floor sanding machines.

• Measure spaces.

• Cover furniture with drop cloths to protect fabric.

• Sweep and vacuum floor after sanding.

• Use buffers

Requirements

• Must have valid Driver’s License and Insurance

• Must have tools, work vehicle and good references

• Must have experience in the remodeling or home repair trades

• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and safety guidelines

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Can complete projects within given time allotment We have both 1099 and W2 positions available
