Position Overview
Reporting to the Headmaster, the Family Outreach Coordinator leads efforts to engage families from a wide variety of backgrounds and recruit them to enroll their children at Valor. This includes direct door-to-door family outreach, event coordination, distribution of marketing materials, and similar efforts. Qualities/responsibilities necessary for this position include:
- Speaking both English and Spanish is required for this position
- Ability to work outside and during unusual hours, including evenings until dark and some Saturdays, for door-to-door recruiting is required
- Ability to speak effectively and persuasively to parents about the unique value of a Valor education
- Ability to connect with a wide range of people and communicate Valor's mission appropriately based on setting
- Must be highly motivated to achive critical student application goals (e.g., number of applications per grade level)
- Email and social media communications coordination
- Event planning and logistics coordination
- Other duties as assigned
