Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various duties including building furniture, assisting with floor moves, verifying customer information, confirming the items being picked up, assisting guests with loading into their vehicles, wrapping furniture when sold off of the showroom, maintaining a well organized and tidy warehouse. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Duties:
- Assisting customers with loading furniture into their vehicles
-Verifying what is being loaded is the correct items
- Assist with floor moves
- Build furniture for the Showroom
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
- Assist in unloading trucks as needed
- Work independently and as a team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
- Proficient in operating forklifts, RF scanners, and cherry pickers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
