What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional President position at ValueHealth?
The Regional President is responsible for sourcing and cultivating strategic relationships with key executives, and for ensuring the attainment of same store and adjacent growth goals for the assigned territory by expanding existing partnerships with health systems and K1 partners. An exceptional communicator and relationship manager, this position provides oversight of the regional operations team and supports new business development and regional acquisition projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Healthcare Administration or related field
- 10 ( ) years leadership experience
- Extensive healthcare management and executive leadership experience
- Demonstrated start up experience in a new business or division
- Proven experience managing and growing executive relationships, overseeing business development, leading finance and facility syndication initiatives
- Previous experience and thorough knowledge of hospitals and/or surgery centers
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards, accreditation standards, clinical care and industry outcomes
- Knowledge and experience in market analysis, payor and provider relations, strategic planning, budgeting and healthcare management
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills required to develop C-suite relationships and to close contracts with major accounts and providers
- Demonstrate leadership skills in strategic planning, organizing, motivating people, controlling expenses and effective staffing
- Working knowledge of employment law, risk and compliance
- Proven ability to adapt to fluid situations and solve complex problems
- Must reside in region

Essential Functions
- Work effectively with executive leadership, including Boards of Directors and affiliate company leadership to attain growth goals
- Develop, implement and communicate organizational values, mission and vision in alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and execute short and long-range plans, strategies, budgets and goals to achieve market development targets through same store and adjacent growth within region
- Provide strategic leadership and support throughout the region via the creation of defined initiatives and oversight of operational decisions at assigned facilities
- Develop annual marketing plans and associated budget to ensure the organization is properly represented at key conferences, seminars and association meetings which contribute to the attainment of business development goals
- Build and maintain productive relationships with partner company leadership and Boards, payor and provider partners as well as development team members and staff
- Partner with facility and corporate leaders to grow new service lines, increase same store growth figures and enable adjacent growth opportunities within the region
- Provide contract oversight across the payor/employer/broker segment
- Inform and share timely and relevant territorial updates with leadership team
- Provide budgetary oversight and approval within region
