How You’ll Make an Impact

We need a quick learner who can become a subject matter expert in our global operations environment. In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the Cincinnati Direct Market operations, plant trucking operations, plant warehousing operations, and all other employees associated with these operations.
  • Ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and outstanding housekeeping operations at all times.
  • Providing employee coaching, training and enact measures to ensure employee concerns are addressed and resolved.
  • Maintaining the highest level of integrity and honesty with all levels of management and employees.
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in the distribution and receipt of bulk, packaged, and ancillary goods to meet customer requirements in the DIFM (Installer) network and the West Chester Warehouse. Also, coordinates the receiving and shipping of packaged goods and components from the Cincinnati warehouse to other locations.  Coordinates and oversees the repairing and maintenance of all equipment and structural assets associated with the department.
  • All EH&S, financial accounting and budgetary spend, and facility level HR and employee welfare matters.
  • Planinng, coordinating and adjusting transportation schedules to support 11 manufacturing lines that operate 24 hours per day, 5 days per week while eliminating waste and improving efficiencies.  This includes direct interactions with the scheduling team, downstream distributions centers, and upstream component suppliers.
  • Overseeing Direct Market/installer trucking operation, including drivers and all DOT certifications, training, and safety related compliance, keep fill customer inventory levels and monitoring, and customer order or field related quality or environmental related issues.
  • Generating, maintaining, and distributing daily and monthly DOT and driver reports for all trucks. Review reports to ensure compliance for vehicles inspections/PM’s, licensing/registration, Hours of Service, and driver qualification files in our 3rd party system. 
  • Coaching, developing, and managing a team that drives the plant by managing the inventory of packaging components delivering to and received at the plant and full pallets of finished goods leaving the plant for distribution. 
  • Providing support to Plant and DM EHS management system execution, auditing, local process development/updates, and training topics. This may include participating in the development of plant EHS targes and objectives, facilitating processes such as MOC, GEMBA, and RCCA, coordinating area safety walk throughs, using the incident management system to record opportunities while driving measurable improvements, and leading a safety action team at the location. 
  •  Performing other duties essential to DM and Cincinnati Trucking or personal development as directed to by the plant senior leadership.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in production, warehousing, or distribution leadership
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others.

  • Mechanical/electrical experience maintaining equipment.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
  • Microsoft Office, SAP, and Maintenance Connection is a plus.
