Pay : Starting at $40-$60 per hour
Infection Preventionist Nurse- 8 hours a week
Van Dyk Health Care is currently looking for an Infection Preventionist to work 8 hours a week in our Assisted Living community in Hawthorne, NJ. We are looking for someone who can address clinical & organization systems, processes, and cultural aspects of infection prevention and control to lead and administering Park Place’s Infection Prevention & Control program. This is a CRITICAL position, and we are looking for someone who is reliable & well versed in the AHCA Infection Preventionist Specialized Training (IPCO) program
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey. LPN/RN
- Infection Control and Prevention certification required
- Experience in an Assisted Living or Nursing Home required
- Experience in management/ administrative or supervisory preferred
- Must be knowledgeable of infection control practices and procedures, and laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to assisted living.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, vendors, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, which are necessary for infection control.
- Seeks out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
