FedEx Ground Delivery Driver (Full Time/Part Time Positions Available)

We are a Contracted Service Provider for FedEx Ground. We have been in business for

21 years in Northern Wisconsin.

We are looking for dependable, responsible, positive individuals who understand the notion of hard work, provide excellent customer service, and believe that safety always comes first.

Requirements -

- Must be 21 years old

- Clean criminal and driving backgrounds, this includes DUIs in the last five years as well as excessive speeding violations. Excessive is considered 20 mph over the posted speed limit.

- DOT Physical and Drug Screen (provided post-hire)

- Limited understanding of an iPad

- Understanding that in this job there are some short days, as well as long days. In addition to this, there are two variables we cannot control. These being: dispatch (or start) time, and when the end of the day will be. This is a salaried position. This is a career in which you enter with this knowledge.

- CDL NOT required. No prior driving experience is required but is preferred.

Summary -

- Van Dyke PD is under contract to do a vast variety of areas. Just some of the areas include Park Falls, Ironwood, Ontonagon, Baraga, and Houghton. The specific route we are hiring for will be discussed during the interview. We will train you in all areas as necessary to perform at a safe, responsible pace.

- Commercial driving is preferred, however, NOT a requirement. We believe hiring good people comes first, and teaching them to be delivery drivers comes second. Attitude, willingness to work hard, dependability, and safe driving practices are paramount to how we run our business.

- Full Time applicants - Two Options

1. Tuesday - Saturday. Preferred. Additional $100 a week incentive. Schedule is the same every week. Sunday and Monday off each pay period.

2. Monday - Friday, every other Saturday. When a Saturday is required, a day off the following week will provide a 5 day work week per pay period. The day off varies week to week.

- Part Time applicants

1. Apply with the understanding that Saturdays are the primary focus. The hope would be to be available most Saturdays, with a very flexible schedule otherwise.

2. We are very flexible with our part time employees and their desired schedules.

- Shift start time is at 8:30 at the terminal in Eagle River, WI.

- Finish time depends on volume, dispatch time, weather, and experience.

- A set shift does not exist in this business. Understand that prior to applying.

- Sort is completed by our drivers at this location, which is figured into the shift time and pay.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $160.00 - $180.00 per day

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
