Job description
We are seeking a local yard jockey driver to shuttle product & trailers between our 3 locations within McAdoo, PA, and load/unload product from trailers using a pallet jack or forklift for weekends.
Duties include:
- Shuttling trailers between 3 locations within McAdoo, PA
- Load & Unload trailers with a forklift, pallet jack, or by pushing carts
- Review and verify quantities against BOL/Invoice
- Safely secure and seal loaded trailers
- Back-in and remove trailers from loading docks
- Operate other yard equipment / tools
- Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, production, and sales personnel
- Perform various other warehouse duties as needed (repair pallets, rearrange materials, etc.)
- Ensure safe operational condition of vehicles and/or equipment before and after use. Report mechanical issues to in-house maintenance department
Qualifications: 1 year experience with pallet jack, forklift, driver manual transmission and jockeying 53’ trailers
