We are seeking a .NET Developer who is comfortable with front- and back-end programming. While a strong understanding of the .NET Full-Stack environment is preferred, we’re willing to guide the right candidate with robust Front-End Development but less on .NET knowledge.
You will be responsible for assisting the Senior .NET Developer in developing and applying HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while ensuring the responsiveness of applications for desktop and mobile. This position requires the candidate to be local to the Northern Virginia area and too be able to report to the New Homes office in Ashburn, VA at least twice a week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing front-end web applications
- Assist in developing back-end web applications
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications
- Working alongside Senior .NET Developer and Senior DBA for application design features
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
- Assist in designing and developing APIs
- Meeting both technical and business user’s needs
- Staying up to date with web application developments and programming languages
Requirements:
- Degree, or pursuing a Degree in Computer Science/Web Applications Development, or 1-2 years of experience
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, jQuery/JavaScript
- Familiarity with .NET, C#
- Familiarity with SQL Server Database
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Team-oriented
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Telerik plug-in knowledge is a plus
