Job Opportunity:
We are growing and we are looking for an Insurance Follow-Up Supervisor to join our team!

You Will Make an Impact By:
- Supervising the work activities of the insurance follow-up team, and ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Managing department projects and deadlines.
- Reviewing and designing processes within the insurance team to ensure that follow up is consistent and accurate.
- Tracking department metrics, identifying denials trends, and reporting data to revenue cycle leadership.
- Educating and guiding clinical staff on proper documentation and any trends that could cause delay of claims submission.
- Working within the functional area on a regular basis to stay connected with processes and issues.
- Supervising and overseeing insurance que audits to implement any changes due to findings and working with the training team on internal insurance audits.
- Coaching insurance follow-up team members on performance and providing feedback on both a formal and informal basis.
- Participating in annual performance reviews by providing feedback and identifying development needs and opportunities for staff.
- Building and fostering a positive team environment and promoting a positive work culture and experience.
- Approving time-off requests, and approving timecards for team members.
You Have:
- Minimum five years’ experience in the medical field or equivalent work
- Previous leadership experience in a healthcare setting helpful.
