Cultivation Lead

• Works with the Cultivation Team to execute the production schedule
• Harvest: Chopping, Plucking, Cleaning/Sanitizing and Room Reset
• Environmental Data Collection using handheld instruments

SUMMARY:

The Lead Cultivation Associate will work as part of the Cultivation Team to execute daily tasks including but not limited to vegetative propagation, transplant, pruning, trellising, harvesting, irrigation, IPM and cleaning/sanitizing with the goal of efficiently and effectively producing high quality cannabis flower while meeting timelines and adhering to all standards and regulations. Cultivation Leads shall possess the technical knowledge to perform these tasks with limited to no supervision and shall be capable of coaching Cultivation Technicians or helpers from other departments working in their area.

• Works with the Cultivation Team to execute the production schedule.
• Propagation: Process cuttings, Clone Maintenance, Labeling, Monitoring and Transplant
• Plant Maintenance: Environmental Monitoring, Trellising, Pruning, Decongestion, Defoliation, Irrigation and

Scouting

• Harvest: Chopping, Plucking, Cleaning/Sanitizing and Room Reset
• General cultivation area/tools/materials inventory, organization, and maintenance
• Environmental Data Collection using handheld instruments.
• IPM
• Irrigation: Minor plumbing repairs, Nutrient inventory/stock maintenance, Day Tank maintenance, Nutrient

maintenance and RO system maintenance

• Ensures compliance with any and all policies and SOPs.

Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.

• Experience in vegetative propagation and plantlet care
• Experience pruning Cannabis for indoor production
• Experience monitoring and collecting data in controlled environments
• Experience with IPM practices in controlled environments
• Experience performing minor repairs, adjustments, and maintenance on irrigation components
• Ability to work independently and in a group.
• Ability to adhere to safety requirements.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and achieve results both internally

and externally.

• Handle, feel and be able to distinguish what is being held.
• Continuous walking, stooping, bending, and lifting.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Manual labor position which requires heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and involves repetitive tasks.
• Position operates within elevated temperatures exposed to heat and cold and internal temperature changes.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to work flexible hours with a minimum guarantee of 40 hours a week. Understanding that since this is a start up environment they may be asked to perform task within the facility outside of the listed requirements above.
