Job Description: District Manager
Position Overview: The District Manager guides our clients through the automotive buying process. We are looking for a high-achiever District Manager. You will help clients stay up to date with company policies and industry trends, and you will ensure focus on increasing sales and building productive client relations. The successful candidate will oversee district’s day-to-day operations and will carry out company policies and guidelines.
Coverage area will be: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine
District Manager Responsibilities:
Review client financial information to secure fair and profitable financing or lease terms for our clients.
Travel as needed for company goals, minimum of 75% of the time Initiate audit/dealership reviews as mandated by company standards
Maintain, create and execute account development business plans Ability to use computer/laptop with basic skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in a business environment Effectively communicate in writing to management and dealership management on a regular basis Constantly evaluate performance vs. expectations; perform proactive meetings in dealerships
Ensure sales, market and competitive information is recorded and reported daily in company CRM
Install and Complete in-dealership activities(processes), assignments and demonstrations as outlined in the Development Post-Installation Activities Manual Document performance of installed dealerships to pro-forma goals and report the results to the General Regional Manager and VP
Oversee operational practices making sure that each client runs smoothly and meets projected revenues and sales estimates Market growth and penetration (attaining and retaining new clients)
Cultivate and grow a strong team of committed Finance and Insurance Specialists that will maintain profit margins and implement business plan
Ensure that all projects are executed profitably and in compliance to standardized business practices
Commit to becoming an expert in federal, state, and local regulations involving the automotive industry.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with financial institutions, in order to secure competitive and fair interest rates for the dealership's clients.
Process finance and lease deals as necessary accurately and in a timely manner.
Apply innovative approaches and techniques to keep updated with competition
District Manager Requirements:
Must have 2-5 years of District Management Automotive Aftermarket Finance Experience
The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed.
Prior experience working with dealership clients and providing an exceptional experience.
Steady work history and the commitment to provide exceptional customer service.
Basic computer, email, and Internet proficiency. Saturday and evening availability.
Valid US driver’s license.
Excellent communication skills.
