Description:
The Cycle Count Coordinator is an essential position in ensuring that inventory records are accurate. They ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory at all times by: developing and managing the company’s cycle counting program, researching inventory variances, and reporting to management on count results. The coordinator will assume supervisory responsibility for cycle counting specialist(s) who will assist the coordinator with cycle counting duties.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist the finance team in the development of the company’s cycle counting program and overall execution strategy
Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on production floor and in the warehouse(s)
Publish cycle count results in a timely manner
Research inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions to avoid future discrepancies
Develop and maintain relations with warehouse and manufacturing personnel to improve inventory movement and accuracy
Assist warehouse personnel with physical space labeling, material labeling, and serialization strategies
Assist with any full physical counts performed throughout the organization
Assist the finance team with any reporting or other items related to monthly or year-end closing requirements
Work with Auditors when needed – on physical inventory observations
Perform other duties as required by supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in inventory management or related warehousing/manufacturing environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner
Experience with or the ability to manage and lead a team
Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and leadership skills
Understanding of inventory systems (AS400 experience a plus)
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
High School Diploma/GED required
