Warehouse Inventory Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Warehouse Associate shall perform the following tasks:
• Using the Supply Chain process, materials used for DMOs, PMOs, PWOs, and OWOs must be transferred to the applicable maintenance order via the MIGO transaction in accordance with the MIGO Goods Receipt for PO
• Ensure material costs are recorded accurately, and coordinate with the DPW BOID Supply Specialist, and Operations and Maintenance staff accordingly.
• Manage and maintain the Material Master data in GFEBS.
• Assist with the Return of material from work orders back into inventory in GFEBS.
• Assist with the process of physical inventory in GFEBS.
• Assist with the Receipt of material into inventory in GFEBS.
• Assist with Issuing material onto work orders in GFEBS.
• Complete annual Audits and QAQC checks of physical inventory vs. GFEBS inventory.
• Monitor levels of inventory to ensure availability.
• Track RFQ and vendor quotes.
• Input of warranty data on new inventory.
• Define, recommend, and assist with the implementation of inventory standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• United States Citizenship required for security clearance.
• HVAC, Electrical, & Plumbing inventory handling experience (1 year).
• High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
• Warehouse inventory experience (1 year).
• Create basic and intermediate data spreadsheets and reports.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, Dept of Public Works Staff, and customers.
• Ability to read and interpret inventory and parts specifications and O&M documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and customers.
• Problem solving and innovative resolution ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
