About this Opportunity:
The Production Manager will champion our precision machining. secondary and facilities operations in compliance with ISO 13485 /CFR820 standards. Responsible for all production activities associated with cost management, schedule attainment and fulfillment. Provide world class service through collaboration with all departments. Lead production team through the daily execution of production schedule. Develop team members and staffing plans to support business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and collaborating within a cross-functional team to manage daily manufacturing process.
- Supports creation and deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure Quality & EH&S standards are built and maintained in alignment with company policies.
- Management of direct reports to maintain effective relationships.
- Employee hiring and training.
- Ensuring the full compliance of company policies and procedures.
- Responsibility in executing improvement to processes, systems or products to enhance performance
- Preferred ISO 13485/CFR820 requirements
- Broad understanding quality and production requirements and a demonstrated ability to continuously improve these processes.
- Strong leadership, developing and empowering teams
- Management skills including the ability to make decisions, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating.
- Experience using metrics to drive systemic change
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- High computer literacy and confidence/skill working within Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Preferred experience with low volume high mix precision machining Swiss CNC
Requirements / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 to10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts and SMED Flow.
- Preferred experience in a machining environment standard work and flow concepts.
- Medical device experience is preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries required.
- Preferred ISO 13485/CFR820 requirements
- Broad understanding of quality and production requirements and a demonstrated ability to continuously improve these processes.
- Strong leadership, developing and empowering teams.
