The Coordinator, Driveaway is responsible for carrying out support functions for the Driveaway operation and will report to the Driveaway Manager.
Position Summary:
Reconciliation of vehicle movements; provide van & route efficiency reports; updating employee work schedules and attendance records; at the direction of Driveaway management to work with employment agencies ensuring they are provided with staffing orders and given information on employee performance; track van maintenance activities and schedule as needed at the direction of Driveaway management; assist in onboarding new employees; track training records; assist in administration of safety programs; support communications to Stellantis, Rubicon, VASCOR yards, and other entities as needed; and perform other tasks as required to support efficient operations as directed by the Driveaway Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
Position responsibilities include:
- Reconcile system recorded vehicle movements with manual records, ensuring that all vehicles moved are recorded in FVS.
- Create and provide reports, using system data, on efficiency. These would include efficiency by van driver and route and other efficiency reports as directed by the Driveaway Manager
- Assist the Manager and Assistant Manager in updating employee work schedules and attendance records.
- As directed by the Manager and Assistant Manager, work with employment agencies ensuring agencies are provided with staffing orders and are given information on employee performance.
- Assist in onboarding new employees.
- Track training records for the Driveaway department.
- Track van maintenance activities and schedule as needed at the direction of Driveaway management.
- Assist the Manager and Assistant Manager in the administration of safety programs.
- Support as communications to Stellantis, Rubicon, VASCOR yards, and other entities as needed.
- Perform all other duties as required.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:
Education
- High school diploma required.
- An associate's degree or above is preferred.
Skills
- Written and Verbal communications and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of management and customers, as well as internal personnel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Use of MS Office Products, including Excel and Word. Experience with PowerPoint helpful.
- Some operator-level experience with SAP, AS400, Power BI, or similar systems preferred.
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in meeting / exceeding customer expectations.
- Self-motivated and able to operate within a team environment.
- Preferred, some work experience with systems such as SAP, AS400, Power BI, or equivalent type systems.
- Preferred, worked with MS Office Products Excel and Word.
