The Department of Music at Vassar College invites applications for an Adjunct Artist in Classical Guitar beginning Fall 2023.

Position Description
The Adjunct Artist in Classical Guitar position is for a three-year contract with the possibility of renewal. In addition to teaching a minimum of six hours per week of classical guitar lessons, each applicant should be available for some level of additional involvement in the Music Department. The successful candidate will participate in auditions, student recital preparation, recruitment, and be active in the musical life of the college.

Qualifications: Minimum Masters Degree or equivalent professional experience, a proven record of successful teaching and recruiting, as well as substantial professional accomplishments.
