Workers’ Comp Defense Firm, representing employers & insurance carriers throughout the State of Florida, seeks a legal secretary/legal assistant with a MINIMUM of 3 year’s workers’ compensation defense experience. Job duties include and skills required are as follows:
Draft Documents; Organizing and maintain files; Draft, proofread, and file or send legal documents, such as motions and correspondence to clients and outside parties; Answer calls; Manage client communications; Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining lawyers’ calendars to include scheduling appointments, making photocopies, and compiling complex documentation; Experience using dictation and transcription software (must type at least 50 works per minute); Experience working with multiple lawyers simultaneously; Must have knowledge and experience with Microsoft to include Outlook for scheduling purposes.
