Main Duties
Under Limited Direction
- Study, analyze and design methods, procedures, processes, layouts, fixtures and tooling
- Plan, coordinate and lead manufacturing projects. Developing plans, determining
- Identify and recommend resolutions for existing or imminent manufacturing problems.
- Investigate, prepare and recommend manufacturing cost reduction and product/process
- Coordinate with support groups to ensure manufacturability, process capabilities and
- Coordinate or manage 3P schedules and establish Standard Operating Procedures
- Working as part of a cross functional team, sustain current production by providing

- Develop manufacturing operating instructions or procedures and train assemblers and
- May coordinate with vendors and customers during the course of assignments
- Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure

Physical requirements
- This position requires hands-on work on the manufacturing floor using a variety of tools
- Extended periods of standing and/or walking, moderate lifting, and reasonable mobility
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English adequately to understand and develop
Knowledge And Skills Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering or similar
- Requires 2 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Requires knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques, equipment and processes
- Requires knowledge of project management skills, good communications skills.
- Requires knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and
- Requires knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools is required
- CAD proficiency/design background is a plus
- Injection molding experience preferred
- Automation design, project management, and implementation experience preferred
