The role:
We are looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT and Security team. As an IT Support Specialist you will support and work with different teams, including engineers, legal, HR and also our security team.
The responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems and internal network servers
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage internal network services and technology tools
- Set up accounts (familiar with Google and Atlassian products)
- Automate internal IT processes
- Be part of the helpdesk support efforts, making sure all problems related to desktop applications, services and equipment are resolved in a timely manner.
- Maintain our internal wiki for IT documents and policies
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar roles
- Ability to script in a language (Python, Bash or Powershell)
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux and macOS
- Good communication skills
- Problem solving attitude
- Basic knowledge of networking software, hardware and protocols
- Experience working with Active Directory
- Familiar with VPN technologies and tools
- Experience working in startups
- Familiarity with network security concepts
- Familiarity with AWS
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and Docker
- Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) tools
- Ability to script in a language (Python, Bash or Powershell)
