Field Application Specialist

We are seeking a Field Application Specialist who works on the implementation of diagnostic tests into laboratories for an innovative biotechnology company. Reporting to the Director, the candidate will be joining the team building the foundations for a world-class customer experience. This position is highly technical in nature, leading customer implementations, product installation and training sessions, on-site troubleshooting and much more.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a Field Application Specialist
- Experience as an Applications Specialist at a medical diagnostic company or experience as a Lab Technician for a hospital lab
- Experience in the field with the implementation of diagnostic tests into laboratories
- Experience working with labs and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
- Clinical laboratory experience
- Experience working with CRM programs (Salesforce) strongly preferred
- 80% travel predominantly in the Eastern Time zone
Responsibilities:
- Provide an excellent customer experience through customer implementations in collaboration with sales, stellar on-site support facilitating customer inquiries, managing case resolutions and providing internal teams with feedback on field activities
- Assist customers in adopting products in their hospital
- Manage customer implementation plans including ensuring all required materials and equipment are delivered
- Provide on-site customer training and helps the customer with protocol and product validations, defining criteria to reach “go-live” stage
- Manage customer complaints through remote or on-site troubleshooting, assist in identifying resolutions, completing all cases in the designated CRM in a timely manner
- Serve as a key liaison on technical matters
- Manage accuracy of customer account data in Salesforce
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
