Job Description:

  • Position: Correctional LPN
  • Shift time: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
  • Location: Harvest AL
  • Contract duration: 13 weeks.
  • Guarantee: 36 Hours

Role and Responsibility:

  • Conduct health assessments for inmates, including vital signs and screenings.
  • Current state LPN license required.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
  • Adhere to security protocols and regulations.
  • Implement infection control measures.
  • Provide support for inmates with mental health concerns.
  • Participate in substance abuse assessment and treatment.
  • Advocate for inmates' healthcare needs and rights.
  • Promote overall health and well-being in a correctional setting.
  • Stay updated on correctional nursing practices through ongoing education.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Standard shift:

  • Night shift

Weekly schedule:

  • 3x12
  • Weekends as needed
