PR Partner (Part-time)

VBPR is seeking a PR Partner (Part-Time) for our 5-year anniversary! This is a commission based only role. VBPR is looking to bring someone on a high energy role with a passion for philanthropy and cause based work. Our ideal Managing Partner will have a proven track record of experience building a client base, recruiting, or maintaining a scope of small-large clientele. Position is for potential CEO consideration.

A philanthropic Public Relations Firm, VBPR represents local, national and international clients primarily in the New York, New Jersey area. Annually, we work large scope events with companies including The Chelsea Film Festival, The PRIDE Parade and The Plant Based World Expo.

Duties
1. Develop and implement strategic communication plans to promote the organization's goals and objectives
2. Create and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers
3. Write and edit press releases, articles, and other communication materials
4. Manage social media accounts and create engaging content to increase brand awareness
5. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for media coverage
6. Coordinate and organize events, including press conferences and product launches
7. Monitor and analyze media coverage to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies
8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in public relations

Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
2. Proven experience in public relations, media relations, or a similar role
3. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
4. Leadership with excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to speak confidently in public settings
5. Knowledge of social media management tools and platforms
6. Familiarity with market research techniques and data analysis
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
