VCA Palmetto Animal Hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a full time Overnight Animal Care Attendant to join our skilled Emergency & Critical Care team at our AAHA-accredited 24/7 emergency and general practice hospital.

The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning cages
• Feeding and caring for dogs and cats
• Walking dogs
• Bathing dogs
• Doing laundry
• Understanding and carrying out the daily, weekly, and monthly task list to maintain the hospital cleanliness, the equipment, and overall appearance of the hospital
• Assisting Doctors and Technicians when necessary
• Maintaining medical records
• Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients
• Understands the importance of prioritizing tasks and keeps oneself busy and productive during work shifts.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets
