VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center is expanding its Neurology service and looking for an Experienced Veterinary Assistant !

As a Veterinary Assistant in our Neurology department, you will :
- Patient Care : Provide compassionate care to our neurological patients, including preparing them for procedures, assisting with treatments, and monitoring their condition.
- Client Interaction : Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing information about their pet's condition and care instructions.
- Maintain Equipment and Supplies : Ensure all neurology equipment is properly maintained and that supplies are well-stocked.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with our team of veterinarians, technicians, and other assistants to provide the highest standard of care.
Qualifications :
- Experience : A minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary medicine is required.
- Passion for Neurology : A strong interest in neurology and a desire to learn and grow in this specialized field.
- Excellent Communication Skills : Ability to interact with clients and team members in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Organizational Skills : Strong ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a busy environment.
Schedule : Full-Time position, with four 10-hour weekdays or three 12-hours weekdays. Upon complete training with the Surgery Service (commonly three months), associates can train to perform on-call surgery duties.
They can be included in an on-call rotation for both Surgeons and Neurologists. Bonuses apply!
Compensation : Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
