Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Take complete ownership of the software product, including both the technical and functional roadmap.
• Advocate a customer-centric approach, effectively representing the voice of the customer to guide technology and resource investments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and intake for the product development team.
• Collaborate with key development and business stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog.
• Lead product grooming and sprint planning sessions in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Manage capacity and resource planning to optimize product development and delivery.
• Clearly articulate product scope, ROI, and benefits to stakeholders and business teams.
• Work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to plan and execute successful product releases.
• Align multiple domains (both technical and non-technical) to a common vision, providing clear communication of product details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Actively engage in the team's support channels, assisting and addressing stakeholder questions.
• Leverage understanding of technology trends to determine how platform and architecture decisions impact product roadmaps and user experience.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of all products and technology managed by the team.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline). An advanced degree is advantageous but not required.
• Previous experience of 8 years in a product management role or similar capacity within the technology industry.
• Proven expertise in product management, demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex products.
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices and web-based application development technologies.
• Good understanding of Web/API development using Java or NodeJS.
• Exceptional customer focus with a track record of successfully incorporating customer feedback into product strategies.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and addressing challenges creatively.
• Understanding of technology trends and best practices within the industry.
• Proficiency in project and product management tools and methodologies.
• Prior development experience is an added advantage.
