We believe in continuous training of our techs in the testing, diagnosing and repairing of IT equipment such as dot matrix/ label printers, check/ document scanners and barcode equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test malfunctioning equipment or related parts, following manufacturers' specifications and using test and analysis instruments
- Test or calibrate components or equipment, following manufacturers' manuals and troubleshooting techniques, using hand tools, power tools, or measuring devices
- Keep records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance or service, such as cleaning, lubricating, or adjusting equipment
- Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and remove, repair, or replace defective part
- Study technical manuals or attend training sessions provided by equipment manufacturers to maintain current knowledge
- Repairing and Maintaining Equipment
- Calibrate or adjust electronic equipment to specification
- Replace electronic components
- Repair and replacement of rollers
- Service and maintenance of belts
- Install electronic equipment, components, or systems
- Repair or replace electrical wiring and PC boards
- Test electronic or electrical circuit connections
- Maintain equipment service records in Windows based system
- Other duties include general labor tasks such as cleaning equipment, warehouse organization, etc..
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED and minimum 2 years of general basic mechanical repair utilizing hand tools in electronic assembly and disassembly OR an Associate Degree in Electronics or relevant discipline
- Minimum one year of experience utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel
Eligibility Requirements:
- Occasional sitting, generally on feet in a work bench environment for 6-8 hour per day
- Daily lifting of equipment up to 75 pounds for brief periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Soldering
- Bachelor's Degree
- A Certification
