Parts Clerk – 2ND SHIFT, Pompano Beach, FL Area

Vector Fleet Management is currently looking for a full time Parts and Procurement Clerk to support our customer’s fleet located in the Pompano Beach, FL area.
SUMMARY
Duties include parts and services procurement for the facility. Managing the parts physical inventory to comply with customer brand and company requirements while keeping necessary items on hand. Utilize the customer FMIS(FASTER) to purchase, track, and post parts to repair orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Purchase parts and maintain accurate inventory.
- Interact with Technicians to ensure compliance with part assignments on repair orders and stocking level decisions.
- Maintain a neat and orderly parts room in compliance with company guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years’ experience in an automotive/fleet parts procurement/distribution environment.
- OEM/ASE parts certification preferred, or willingness to obtain on hire.
- Some automotive/fleet technical background a plus.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Pass a drug test and background check.
