Mobile Application Developer

• The position involves working in a agile environment building mobile applications to that tie into a larger Smart warehousing system.

• Work closely with our customer and other stakeholders to establish software requirements, software designs, and develop plans and roadmaps.
• Help guide the team to gain an initial understanding of the desired solution, and iteratively develop and refine the software to achieve a usable, high quality result.
• Collaborate in our Agile/Scrum software development process.
• Develop software documentation (we try to keep it to a minimum, but it is a necessary evil).
• Have the ability and interest to learn new technologies.
• Travel, if required, to provide technical assistance to USN 5G installations.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BSCS) or related.
• Experience/Skills:
  • Candidate must have a minimum of (5) years' software development experience with a minimum of (3) years' mobile applications development.
  • Work can primarily be performed remotely, with the understanding that some functions/tasks related to the project may require an on-site presence at times.
  • Ability to work at a desk, verbally communicate effectively, use common office equipment.
• Required:
  • Experience with iOS and/or Android mobile development
  • Familiarity with OOP design principles and extensive knowledge of at least one programming language (Swift/ObjC and/or Java)
  • Experience with third party libraries and interacting with APIs
  • Experience with automated testing and establishing testing frameworks, from Unit to E2E testing.
  • Experience with source control systems, such as git and Azure DevOps.
• Preferred:
  • Experience interfacing with REST/SignalR APIs
  • Experience with cross-platform libraries (Xamarin, React-Native, etc)
  • Experience with AR Mobile Development (ARKit/ARCore)
  • Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
  • Experience with Docker and Docker-Compose.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems.
