What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personnel Security Specialist III position at Vectrus?
Our National Security Program has an immediate opportunity for a Personnel Security Specialist in Arlington, Va.
Provide Personnel Security (PERSEC) Support. The contractor shall provide PERSEC support under this contract. This includes the management and oversight of activities performed to support the established standards, criteria, and guidelines upon which personnel security eligibility determinations are based.
Responsibilities
- The following subtasks are not assigned to any one specific security business area and are intended to provide maximum flexibility and support to the enterprise:
- Provide Program Access Request (PAR) Management Support. Contractor shall provide tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Electronically create, track, update, and provide trend analysis for PARs
- Perform Security Officer review of PARs and prioritize PARs when necessary
- Schedule and perform SAP indoctrination briefings with approved personnel
- Maintain Personnel files IAW current policy
- Electronically process, track, update, and provide trend analysis for Partner/FMS PARs
- Coordinate and maintain accuracy of program billet rosters
- Provide Personnel Clearance (PCL) Management Support. Contractor shall provide tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Execute reports to identify personnel requiring Periodic Reinvestigation (PR)
- Coordinate PR initiation with employee’s Service PERSEC POC and provide guidance
- Coordinate and manage the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program
- Facilitate adverse/required reporting actions as required
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the stated discipline
- Or 6 years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
- Or an Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience:
- (3) or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description.

Salary : $51,300 - $65,000
