Job Description

Hybrid- 3 weeks remote 1 week on site

Location: Westlake, TX, Merrimack, NH or Durham, NC

Duration of contract: Through 12/15/23 right now, but will last longer or convert to FTE

 

$65-73/hr W2 no corp to corp

 

Responsible for number of portfolios, on prem and AWS, trying to move as much db to AWS as possible, also have some in snowflake, delphix tech, FBT is moving to take over 2 major coop and platforms Database admin position, oracle database skill is a must, we cannot compromise, most significant skill is the admin piece, everything else is optional

-reason we put AWS skill is we are trying to see if there are people that would like to get engaged in these skills in the future, will provide opportunity to do cloud migration. Do not need to be expert in everything, but should have strength and good skills within Oracle

-will dig into their most comfortable areas to determine skillset

 

Top MUST have skills:

- 5 years Oracle 19c

- current Database performance tuning (SQL tuning) Goldengate replication Some exposure to cloud migration (AWS)

-highly desirable Team is mainly application dba, (others have system dba-that is not what we are looking for)

 

NICE to have skills:

  • Delphix Snowflake
