What You’ll Do as a Logistics and Warehouse Associate in our growing Marketing Team, working from our Sharonville facility:
Logistics Responsibilities include:
- Route Planning: Liaising with the 2 dedicated VEGA drivers and field based Salespeople to schedule the VEGA Mobile Exhibit Truck at client sites, tradeshows, special events, etc.
- Check lists : Communicate with customers, trade-show sites, etc on parking instructions.
- Assist the Drivers to identify and schedule places to park the VEGATRUCK overnights and weekends.
- Assist the Drivers in keeping VEGATRUCK records up to date, including service schedules, maintenance, DOT license, etc.
- Assisting the Drivers with booking their hotels and flights.
Warehouse duties include:
- Coordinates the packing and shipping of exhibit booth and marketing materials for trade shows/events
- Travel to and facilitate the set-up, execution and break-down of trade show booth activities as needed
- Responsible for ensuring all equipment, technical set up, product samples are on site in good time for show, tracking of and shipping of samples as necessary and receipt by venues
- Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Create and affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
- Loads shipments onto trucks.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
