Description:
The SVP of Growth is an experienced sales professional who is skilled in analytical thinking, influencing others to drive results, envisioning and growing teams, and able to develop and implement strategies to achieve business development objeectives. Specifically, in this role, the SVP will build a team and define processes to drive business results by producing a well-managed, profitable, and growing book of diverse business opportunities across all capabilities areas of Velir. The individual in this role will serve Velir's clients as a trusted partner, building and executing customized business plans and predictable sales engagement processes. Successful candidates must be passionate about identifying new client opportunities and growing the Velir brand, as well as the ability to roll up their sleeves and hunt for and develop new logos and/or white space in existing accounts alongside their team. We envision a player-coach approach in the day to day.
In this role, you will also be at the center of defining Velir's critical Partner Alliances strategy and approach. Like client relationships, partner relationships shape the way we go to market and grow our business. Our aim is to be the most impactful partner to each of our partners and transform the way our mutual clients do business. This position will define the partner strategy, in collaboration with our executive leadership team, to drive towards our partner goals throughout the year. This person possess a passion for technology consulting and have experience building and managing relationships with partners and/or clients, as well as proven success supporting sales pursuits. This person will be accountable for the health of our partner business in support of our overall market strategy and growth.
In all areas of focus, the successful SVP helps position Velir, our capabilities, and experience in the most strategic way with our prospective clients and partners. Specific responsibilities include: tracking and reporting partnership program activity, researching and understanding our market segments and target industries, and organizing the business development and partner management process. This role requires an energetic, organized, and motivated self-starter who works well under tight deadlines and seeks to define and improve processes.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, lead, and close Velir prospective client opportunities throughout the entire sales lifecycle
- Collaborate effectively with Client Services to help further sales strategy, lead our business development pursuits, and develop account plans
- Thoughtfully prospect and qualify client opportunities related to the entire portfolio of services, including digital marketing, technology, data, and digital strategy services
- Establish new client logos for Velir and support deeper penetration at existing clients
- Establish, manage, and grow relationships with key executives and stakeholders
- Create and execute unique sales strategies at our diverse set of clients
- Develop and implement strategies for measuring and analyzing sales performance, including tracking key performance indicators, monitoring sales trends, and conducting sales forecasting analysis to identify areas for opportunity and improvement.
- Collaborate with different departments across Velir, working side-by-side with multiple team members and being the "connector" that enables a cross-functional sales and partnership environment
- Lead and drive partner alliance strategy
- Determine and drive key partner revenue goals based on input from overall market strategy, market growth goals, and practice focus areas
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner and Velir needs on an ongoing basis
- Drive towards the best client outcomes by bringing together complementary alliance partners.
- For key partnerships, assess partner program requirements and devise strategies and initiatives to deliver on expected outcomes
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- 10 years' experience in sales and partner operations
- Strong project and people management skills
- Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative capabilities
- Organized and process orientated
- Comfort with CRM and related technologies used to track and manage activities
- Someone who enjoys connecting with potential clients and partners
- Ability to speak to all levels of prospective clients: strategic and tactical decision makers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation Range: $167,000 - 299,500 annually with bonuses
