What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen & Bath Designer/Sales position at Vella Bath & Kitchen, Inc.?
Vella Bath and Kitchen is looking for an experienced kitchen and bath designer who has the ability to recognize customer needs and clearly discuss cabinetry layouts and design. The ideal candidate should be able to emphasize function, as well as design details such as door styles, finishes, tile and construction materials used. The designer should have a passion in kitchen and bath design with sales experience.
The candidate should possess the following:
- Strong customer service skills
- Complete design of kitchens and bathrooms
- A working knowledge of 20/20 preferred
- Proficient with Office 365
- Quote, order and manage the full cycle ordering process for all kitchen and bath products
- Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and selling kitchen and bath projects
- Very organized and able to handle multiple projects
- Maintain / update all showroom products while maintaining vendor relationships
- Ability to see projects from start to completion with great attention to detail and follow through
- Accurately placing and tracking orders
- Customer-focused and skilled at comprehending / delivering your customer’s vision
- Identify purchasing issues and work with team to find a solution
- Oversee warranty issues
- Provide field support for material issues and design questions
- Working with installation team to ensure successful project completions
- Sales experience preferred
