Plastic Process Technician
This position is responsible for installing molds, maintaining equipment and process records, setup support equipment, provide training to operators and others, and optimize process procedures. This position requires flexibility, able to work any shift to cover PTO for other employees.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain molding process procedures
Lead process optimization and scrap reduction initiatives
Root cause analysis of injection molding problems
Continuously improve process and quality
Champion SMED activity and reports results
Assist with TPM activities
Maintain accident-free environment
Maintain process schedules
Requirements
3 years injection molding experience
Employee management/communication skills
Safely use lift trucks to set up and remove molds
Knowledge of machine computer control systems
Troubleshoot and correct process problems
Experience processing engineered resins
Work with minimal supervision
Able to work any shift
Other duties as assigned
Company is willing to train the right individual if necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
