Position Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Position Department: Accounting & Finance

JOB SUMMARY: VeloDyne is recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. As a member of the Accounting & Finance Teams, this position supports the company management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties & Responsibilities

- Data entry of AR invoices daily as needed.
- Files AR invoices electronically.
- Follows up with Customers to verify receipt of invoice and expected pay date.
- Updates AR spreadsheet with replies from Customers.
- Assists in preparation of correspondence to customers with status updates.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

- Associates degree strongly preferred
- Bookkeeping and/or accounting experience required
- Sound judgment and reasoning
- Ability to multi-task
- Cheerful, outgoing personality
- Pleasant phone etiquette
- Ability to get along with others during hectic situations
- Computer skills required: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP systems (M2M), Adobe Acrobat, and Internet Explorer

Position Working Environment:

Clean office environment. Periodic exposure to shop environment containing dust, machine noise and welding equipment. Periodic standing, walking, and lifting loads under 25 pounds. Opportunity for some hybrid remote work once the evaluation period has concluded (after 60 days).
