NSC is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Finance team in the Atlanta Georgia area. This opportunity would be a great fit for candidates with accounts payable experience, very organized, and can multitask with ease and little direction. Additionally, the candidate must be able to thrive in an environment of change and at times, uncertainty, as we are currently in transition and working to build a documented, controlled, and structured A/P process within a growing staffing organization! Type: Temp-Permanent Fulltime
Responsibilities:
Opening USPS mailed paper invoices
Scanning paper invoices to the Accounts Payable email mailbox
Identifying emails in the AP mailbox which contain invoices and forwarding to Concur for capture
Identifying emails requiring research of paid/unpaid invoices, researching payment information in Concur and either responding to the email or providing the research to a higher-level person for response to the customer (internal or external)
Assigning invoices in Concur to employees for coding
Assisting with coding invoices for submission for payment (this would likely only be needed in times of heavy invoicing)
Required Skills:
Strong attention to detail and drive for accuracy and timeliness
Team player and desire to wear multiple hats
Upbeat and positive attitude and a determined and perseverant spirit
Intermediate Excel skills and open to learning advanced skills
Must be proficient in MS Office
Microsoft Navision, and Concur are a plus
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with constantly changing demands and priorities
Strong ability to develop relationships with decentralized operational teams
Assist with 1099’s
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required / Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Experience with Shared Services
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external vendors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and critical thinking
Must be willing and eager to acquire new skills
