This position provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment in support of our client's manufacturing and product development efforts. This position will require a 2 year experience degreed Engineer with demonstrated project design capabilities. The desired candidate will need to have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively. This work is for electrical harness and/or systems design in automotive industries. Experience with product development is a must as is experience with harness design using Pro/E. Role Responsibilities - Vendor Management and Part Management- Ability to read/understand product schematics and mechanizations- Work with client to research and benchmark end customer wants and needs- Interaction with vendors for preliminary costing- Customer Facing- Works well with a team to achieve common goals- Successfully communicates conceptual ideas and design rationale- Develop customer specific product knowledge and domain expertise- Effective collaboration with engineers in other locations- Attend customer meetings as required Requirements - Experience in Product Concept Development and Product Validation.- Ability to collaborate with design teams and influence design direction- Good communication skills- Electrical Systems Experience Preferences- Leadership ability to guide a small team of engineers- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Very good understanding of product design and automotive and/or construction equipment applications Primary Skills:• Ability to collaborate with design teams and influence design direction• Good communication skills• Experience in Product Concept Development and Product Validation.• BSEE with Systems Design experience• Electrical Systems Experience Secondary Skills:• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• Leadership ability to guide a small team of engineers• Very good understanding of product design and automotive and/or construction equipment applications QualificationsEducational QualificationsBSEE with Systems Design experienceAdditional InformationIf available please contact me for more details at 856-842-1988 ext-114
