POSITION PURPOSE
Aid operations in completing work safely and as specified on Asset Management Program
contracts. Perform annual inspections on AMP contracts. Communicate job status to
managers and customers. Aid sales with Condition Assessment inspections.
- Climb sometimes several elevated structures a day, some 200ft~ carrying up to 40lbs of gear.
- Review work orders and current asset conditions to ensure work scope meets the needs and can be accomplished.
- Conduct job kickoff meetings.Perform site visit inspections on AMP tanks.
- Submit all job related forms through mobile application.
- Update management and customers on job status.
- Perform sales condition assessments.
- Condition Assessments – perform inspection, collect all data, submit coating samples to lab for analysis, work with WSC’s and staff to develop an appropriate SOW.
- Work with WSC’s to put together a presentation for delivery to the customer.
- Share the workload of inspections with neighboring inspectors.
- Attend required meetings. (both virtual and in person).
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background
- High school diploma
- A minimum of 3 years in construction or construction safety
- AMPP Level 1 Coatings Inspector (old NACE 1)
- Knowledge of industrial coatings, application and surface preparation
- Welding or welding inspection background is a plus
- Trained in fall protection, confined space and rigging are a plus

- Able to comfortably climb on structures at heights up to 200ft~ with up to 40lbs of gear

- Typing skills are recommended

- Able to pass a respiratory medical evaluation for wearing respirator and assisted breathing apparatus
